What vaccinations do I need?
Which vaccinations you need varies from college to college. You will usually receive a Medical Health Form from the college in which the vaccinations are listed.
You should always keep your immunization card up to date and scan all pages including the cover sheet as a .pdf.
As a rule, however, you should have the following vaccinations:
- Measles, mumps, rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Tetanus
- Meningitis ACWY vaccination
Depending on the university, you may need a tuberculosis blood or skin test, some also require a chest x-ray
The NCAA universities also require a sickle cell blood test. Please speak to your doctor about this and the vaccinations.
