Send SAT Results to Colleges

Most American colleges require the submission of test results as part of the application process. In this guide, you will learn how to correctly submit your SAT score to a college.

The only official way is through your account on the CollegeBoard website.
  1. Log in to your CollegeBoard account with your access data.
  2. Click on My SAT
  3. Scroll down the page and click on the yellow button Send Available Scores.
  4. Confirm in the pop-up window Send Additional Score Reports.
  5. Search for the desired college in the field under Search Colleges and Scholarships by entering its name in the search field.
  6. Your selection is now listed below the search field. Select the correct recipient and confirm with Add to list.

Note:
You can send the results to multiple recipients at the same time. Repeat step 5 until you have added all desired recipients to the list.
  1. When you have selected all the recipients you want, click Continue.
  2. If you have completed several tests, you can now choose which result you want to send. Choose your best result and click Continue to get to the payment page.
  3. Select Standard at Shipping Speed.
  4. On the next page, select your payment method, enter your payment details and then complete the sending of the scores.

Note:
After you have completed the test, you can send the scores for 9 days free of charge. We recommend that you send the scores to the NCAA and the NAIA even if you are not yet placed, at least you will not have to pay for them later.
