How to Request a SpanTran Transcript Evaluation

How to Request a SpanTran Transcript Evaluation

Your grades must be converted to the American grading system.
In this guide you will find information on how to apply for the evaluation of your certificates via SpanTran.

To apply for the evaluation, you will need the following digital documents:
  • Copies of your German school reports from 9th grade onwards
  • Copies of the English translations from the 9th grade onwards

You also need a credit card for the payment.

You apply for the SpanTran evaluation here in our portal and complete the following steps:

  • Enter your personal data. Country of Study is the country from which the certificates you wish to have evaluated originate.
  • On the next page you choose the cheapest course analysis, unless you need the evaluation urgently, then of course 2 or 5 business days. It is important that you choose Course Analysis and NOT General Analysis, unless the university has explicitly asked for General Analysis. (No GPA is calculated for General Analysis).

On the following page you will be asked about "Verification".

  • If you are still in school, select the middle answer "Verification is not required..." in the pull-down menu.
  • If you are studying abroad, your certificates must be verified for 60$, select the upper answer "Please perform verification." However, you can have the certificates emailed directly from your current university to SpanTran / verification@spantran.com, then you don't have to pay anything extra. To do this, the current university must state your SpanTran case/reference number in the email with the German and English transcript of record, which you will receive after payment. In this case, use the answer below "Student will arrange verification".On the following page, select "Documents are not in English but a certified English translation will be provided with the original language documents".
  • On the next page of the delivery report, you can select whether the evaluation should be sent directly to your future university. If you leave this field blank, only you will receive the evaluation by email.
  • Below this, select "No hard copies" unless the university (or you) explicitly wants a copy by post and not just by email.
  • You will then see a summary of your order. Above all, please check the e-mail address so that the completed evaluation can be e-mailed to you.
  • On the following page you can now upload your certificates in your native language and English in pdf format directly from your computer, either individually or all at once. It speeds up the evaluation if the certificates are labeled as well as possible, e.g. 9.1 ES or 9.1 EN
  • Once you have uploaded all your certificates, you can enter your payment details on the following page and pay the fee by credit card.

  • Don't forget to confirm the payment with clickin on "Proceed payment!

When the evaluation is done, you / your university will receive it by email.
If you have any questions, please contact us or SpanTran directly at intake@spantran.com. Just be sure to mention that you are working with Keystone Sports so you can get support quickly.
